Miniatures War Game Rules

A fast play Brigade level simulation of Napoleonic warfare.  Based on a system of grids we enforce the liner concepts of the day and remove the pesky angles and measuring that slow down so many simulations.  As long as your unit basing is consistent CS&C is compatible with virtually anything you may currently be using.

Player Handbooks

We provide a basic set of cubes and markers with the rules.  Pick up additional packs to expand the size of your engagements.  You receive a sheet of pre-printed, pre-cut labels ready to add to our included 1/2” cubes.  Assemble in minutes, each pack will support about a Brigade of reinforcements!

Cold Steel & Canister Accessories

A great accessory to add “bling” to your gaming table.  These dials track your Battalion level casualties and Brigade morale status.  Using our casualty dials also keeps those casualty rings & caps of those nicely painted miniatures reducing bends & scratches!

Cold Steel & Canister Scenario Book #1

10 Historical scenarios from the 1809 Austrian campaign.  First few scenarios start with small forces and help build understanding of the rules concepts.  Later scenarios graduate to more complex forces, multiple brigades, cavalry, artillery, and infantry for larger games.   Full color layout, detailed orders of battle, with historical background and results.  Includes an example Master Game Map to play the battle of Aspern-Essling!
Text Box: Currently Decker Games does not sell these mats directly. We have partnered with Hotz Artworks which supplies many mat versions to include 4” or 6” grids.
